It took me forever and a day to write up the entry for today. I now have an utter disgust for both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

As I've mentioned before, I code my site by hand, mostly because I want to be able to do funny little things here and there that require specific attention, for example: the layout for today's entry. And it took me like 6 hours to do.

Not because coding is hard. Oh no. Not because there's a lot of objects. Hardly. But because Firefox and Internet Explorer could never render the stupid code in the same way! One would always have problems placing the different objects properly, and yet the other would look fantastic. So I did my best to duct tape something together that will hold ok for both browsers. And frankly, I don't even want to think about how other browsers will handle my site. If I could, I would have kicked both Firefox and Internet Explorer in the butt by now.
In other, less frustrating news, I've obviously finished that Liesolette picture from before. I've put it in my pixiv and in my deviantArt account, but I think it looks best on the front page here. I'm really looking forward to how Mei Fang will turn out. I personally think it looks awesome so far, but I will admit it's a bit odd. And coincidentally, Mei Fang's birthday is Nuclear Power Day in Japan. It's the date in 1956 that Japan joined the Internatinoal Atomic Energy Agency and in 1963 when Japan first successfully demonstrated its capability of producing electricity through nuclear power.
However, my birthday is the same day in which the very first self-sustained nuclear reaction was ever achieved as part of the Manhattan Project. Mind you I never knew of either situation until a few weeks ago, but it is a pleasant surprise seeing how I chose to name the site "nuclear koi."
