Nuclearkoi: East of wind, north of sorrow

I started drawing a picture of Sailor Mercury. It's for my cousin's friend.

I'm also playing a LOT of pokemon. I recently acquired the Pokerus virus and I'm totally stoked. I immediately infected a few dozen pokemon.

I also want to draw a pokecomic, but a little later, and not for online. I hope to sell it at cons. It's going to be about Pokepirates. I'll probably put up concept sketches on my deviantArt. It's gonna be epic.

Along with that, I also did a few sketches of zombie pokemon. Jigglypuff was my favorite

Sorry for the late post. I have my cousin over from Oregon and it feels weird to lock myself up in order to draw out comics.

However, said cousin has also requested something for a friend. The subject material is a little nostalgic. More to come soon.

I finished another page. The actual process of creation of each page is so inefficient. So much that I work hard to draw ends up getting cropped out.

That and I discovered Netflix has Robotech on Instant Play. Between that, X-Files, and Star Trek, I'm way too happily distracted.

I'll put up the new page later tonight, after Skate Church. I hope I can pick up a new trick on the quarter pipe.

Still workin' on the next page of Never Never Night. Here's something else to distract you.

And the beat goes on. I've been thinking and trying to decide on the frequency of how often I'll put up new stuff. I think I'll throw on new stuff twice a week, probably every Monday and Thursday. However, Never Never Night is taking me a long time to do. It's still in it's initial awkward beginning, especially since it's somewhat experimental. Therefore, I'll probably only do one page of NNN and one page of Circle and Square each week. Also, I need to consider translating my new stuff into Japanese. I know this isn't exactly Shinjuku station when it comes to Japanese traffic, but I've kept up with stuff this far. Besides, it's good practice.

And for your enjoyment, here are some belated pictures of Anime Expo 2010. The two girls did a cute cosplay of Woody and Buzz, but, of course, as female versions of said characters. Another convention goer had a pretty awesome tattoo of Inuyasha. And I know it's terribly inappropriate, but the crotch grabbin' Robin was hilarious.

My koffing made quite a hit. Only one girl was really excited about my Rocket costume. Everyone else was infatuated with my pokemon. So now I feel like I've hit upon something I could excel at within the context of Anime Expo, creature creation. Next year I want to make a magikarp and be the magikarp salesman. Although, I also want to try making a Honchkrow

I finally did it.

I finally finished another page of Never Never Night. However, since so much time has passed, I'm changing a few things and rediscovering others. Yet even though I've only barely started actualizing the project, I already know how I want to end it. I won't decide on some, final, special word because we all know how that goes. I have more stuff to put up, but it's late. It's just past midnight.
